ISK will take initiatives for promoting environmental protection and workplace safety in compliance with ISK's founding philosophy: "Respecting justice and fairness, we will work to contribute to social development through our untiring efforts to satisfy social needs by using our accumulated strength carefully and boldly."

ISK will adhere to this philosophy and fulfill its responsibilities for society as a responsible corporate citizen, while at the same time committing ourselves in environmental protection and the safety & health promotion of our workers and other stakeholders. Moreover, abiding by the principle of sustainable development, ISK will conduct its business operations by paying due consideration to global environmental protection, thereby seeking to enhance societal trust in ISK.

Today's environmental challenges include global warming, depletion of the ozone layer, diminishing tropical forests, desertification, acid rain, oceanic pollution and increasing volume of waste. In other words, we have increasing concern for our worsening environment and depleting natural resources, in addition to conventional industrial pollution including air and water pollution and the generation of offensive odors.

Based on ISK's Corporate Philosophy, our Company is committed to manufacturing chemical products that are useful for human society and beneficial for social development. In our business operations, ISK will augment our efforts to prevent environmental pollution and promote global environmental preservation activities, by placing priority on environmentally conscious management. Specifically, ISK will proactively take the following environmental protection and safety initiatives:

1.	In all our business activities, we will constantly pay close attention to protecting the global environment, in addition to preventing industrial pollution such as air pollution, water pollution and the generation of offensive odors.
2.	In technological development, we will give due consideration to the impact our products have on safety, health, and the environment, throughout our products' life cycles from development to manufacturing to discard.
3.	To reduce environmental impacts and contribute to global environmental protection, we will promote rational and effective initiatives for the reuse and recycling of used products, as well as resource and energy conservation.
4.	To protect the environment, and to secure the safety and health of employees and citizens, we will promote safety control of our plant operations, and pay due consideration to safety and environmental protection during product transportation, use and discard.
5.	We will actively foster environmental and safety awareness among employees, and promote discussions with citizens regarding our ongoing efforts so as to gain their understanding of activities.
