The Study Group for the Advancement of Yokkaichi Complex
(established August 1, 2018)
The Study Group for the Advancement of Yokkaichi Complex was established in August 2018 to address changes in the business environment in which the complex operates by going beyond corporate boundaries to pool regional expertise and innovative technologies. As a member of the complex, the Yokkaichi Plant is an active participant in these activities.
Yokkaichi Petrochemical Complex Carbon Neutrality Promotion Committee
(established May 24, 2023)
The Yokkaichi Petrochemical Complex Carbon Neutrality Case Review Committee, which was established in 2022, compiled a grand design and roadmap, which is the future vision of the Yokkaichi Complex in 2030 and 2050, and published it in March 2023. To realize such a complex, it is necessary to promote new initiatives, such as project creation through collaboration between companies, and demonstration experiments in collaboration between companies and government. Accordingly, the Yokkaichi Petrochemical Complex Carbon Neutrality Promotion Committee was established in May 2023. Our Yokkaichi Plant participates in the Study Group for the Creation of a Hydrogen and Ammonia Center and the Study Group for Joint Infrastructure Collaboration, aiming to make the Yokkaichi Complex and our Yokkaichi Plant carbon neutral. Thus, we will continue to consider ways to contribute to a carbon-neutral society.
