We, ISK Group, established our purpose marking our 100th anniversary in 2020: "To continue contributing to better living environments through chemical technologies." At the same time, we formulated our long-term vision, "Vision 2030." The year 2030 also coincides with the target year for the SDGs. As a global company, we support this initiative and aim to address social challenges.
In the medium-term business plan "Stage I," backcasted from 2030, we identified material issues to be addressed and developed a foundation to support sustainable management from the SDGs perspective. Our medium-term business plan "Stage II," launched in FY2024, accelerates efforts to integrate business activities and sustainability. We place sustainability at the core of our business foundation, addressing climate change mitigation and adaptation, considering human rights throughout the supply chain, and respecting our most valuable assets: human capital and diversity. We are creating an environment where all employees can maximize their potential.
To ensure that our business remains essential for future generations and contributes to a better society, we have defined our ideal state in 2050 as "A global company that is cherished by people and society, achieving healthy and fulfilling lives." We aim to solve social issues related to climate change and human rights by providing society with products essential for healthy and enriched lifestyles, utilizing our unique chemical technologies, including agrochemicals, animal health products, pharmaceutical raw materials, and functional materials. We will continue to create new corporate value by leveraging the Group's strengths and promoting activities that lead to a sustainable society, based on a spirit of challenge that has persisted since the company's founding.
