Fix-AllTM - Heavy metal absorber and insolubilizer -
Electron microscopic picture of iron oxide
Fix-AllTM safely and readily absorbs and insolubilizes heavy metals of contaminated soil and water in pH neutral conditions, thereby reducing the diffusion of environmental contamination.
Strengths
-
Strength 1By-products of titanium dioxide (gypsum and iron oxide) with high functionality added by our proprietary ultrafine particle technology
-
Strength 2pH neutrality and the ability to insolubilize a wide range of heavy metals (arsenic, selenium, lead, and cadmium)
-
Strength 3Usable with mercury and fluorine
-
Strength 4Stable insolubilization performance efficiently preventing heavy metals from further leaching
-
Strength 5Compatible with slurry injection as well as with powder mixing; sheet products also available
-
Strength 6Simultaneous solidification and insolubilization can be performed when combined with a neutral solidifier.
Typical Applications
- In-situ insolubilization of contaminated soil
- Contamination diffusion prevention walls
- Adsorption layer method
- Treatment of heavy metal-contaminated water
Chief components
- Fe2O3・nH2O
- CaSO4・nH2O
Specific surface area of iron oxide 180m2/g or more
Intended use
- Mainly used for four elements: arsenic, selenium, lead and cadmium.
- Also used for cleaning up mercury, hexavalent chromium and fluorine.
Absorption and re-migration test
