Toward Achieving Vision 2030 Stage II

I have recently assumed the position of CCO, taking over from former President Hideo Takahashi . “To continue contributing to better living environments through chemical technologies” is our purpose, and the very reason our Group exists. Based on this purpose, we strengthen our efforts toward sustainable management to achieve high management targets, with the aim of achieving our long-term vision, Vision 2030. The foundation for achieving the vision lies in compliance, and we have to evolve and deepen our compliance practices while responding quickly to changes in social conditions and the natural environment. Today, the concept of ESG and SDGs is included in compliance. In order for a company to survive and grow, it must respect these perspectives as its criteria for making decisions. This Code of Conduct provides guidelines for the actions that each member of our Group must follow when executing their duties.
Even in this era of VUCA, where the future is difficult to predict, we have achieved many results through your efforts in our medium-term business plan, Vision 2030 Stage I. However, not all of the initial goals were achieved. We have to move forward with the reform of the ISK Group with a sense of speed, not just based on an extension of conventional thinking but on new ideas.
We will continue to aim to increase our corporate value through business activities based on compliance. We will work with enthusiasm to achieve Vision 2030 Stage II. I hope that all of you will do your best together.
