Ishihara Sangyo Kaisha, Ltd. (Head Office: Nishi-ku, Osaka City; President and Representative Director: Hiroshi Okubo; “ISK”) held a forest opening ceremony at “ISK Forest,” for which an agreement was concluded under the “Corporate Forest Development” project promoted by Hyogo Prefecture, and launched the ISK Forest Program.

■ Forest Opening Ceremony
On April 15, 2026, ISK held a forest opening ceremony (signboard unveiling ceremony) at “ISK Forest.”
The ceremony was attended by approximately 10 guests including Mr. Hiroshi Yamazaki, Director of Forestry Division, Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Hyogo Prefecture, as well as representatives from Hyogo Greening Promotion Association, Ono City Business Creation Division, and the Kishi-cho and Shimokishi-cho neighborhood associations.

■ First ISK Forest Program Activity
On April 22, 2026, ISK conducted the first ISK Forest Program activity at “ISK Forest.”
11 employees participated and carried out undergrowth clearing and thinning work under the guidance of Kitaharima Forestry Association. Officials from Hyogo Prefecture and Ono City also cooperated on the day, marking the first step in the ISK Forest Program in collaboration with the local community.

■ Background of This Initiative
In recent years, biodiversity loss has been recognized as a critical environmental issue alongside climate change.
Under its Purpose, “Continuing to contribute to the realization of a better living environment through chemical technology,” ISK is promoting corporate activities aimed at achieving harmony with nature. This activity is implemented as part of that effort.
